Looking For A Mopar B or RB Distributor, Condition Unimportant
Well I have a third person seeking my abilities to breath life into a dead engine. At work today I saw the father of a girl I know. I dont talk to her much now, but we used to be pretty close. Anyway, I started talking to him and asked him if he still had his Road Runner. He said yeah and my reply was quickly "Well if you're taking a golf cart out it wont be as fast, but number 13 might be a little quicker than the rest" to which he replied "Oh I'll bet they would be, that Road Runner isnt going anywhere right now." Anyway, he was talking to me about it for a while and he said he thought he was going to have to have a mechanic come out and take a look at it because he cant get it started and it just overwhelms him. Anyway he asked me if I knew much about getting older cars to run to which I replied "As a matter of a fact I do." Anyway I told him about the other two I got running and what I would try to do to get it started, and anyway it looks like Im probably going to be working on that sometime over the summer, hopefully soon.
Anyway, its 100% original, a survivior with almost no rust (a little surface). Its a '69. 383 with a 727 on the column. I think its burnt orange. His father bought it new, and I dont want to try to start it without priming the pump first, especially since its the original non-rebuilt mill. Its only been four years since it last ran, and there was nothing wrong then. Does anyone have a B or RB distributor thats good enough to make a pump primer out of that they want to sell cheap?
