Default Water in Gas Tank ?

Water in gas tank? Research has shown that glass bowl fuel filters will reveal water if fuel is contaminated.

My 340 '70 Duster is in the shop now getting a few things done.

I'm having a better fan shroud put in because the one it has had only goes down to the top of the fan or little below. A friend at the upholstery shop where I bought it suggested this. It'll make a better air flow.

He also suggested I get a new pulley on the fan that'll make it turn faster. My mechanic at Steve Smith's Auto in Mountain View, CA is checking to see if that's needed.

My engine doesn't overheat but it does run a little hot in the Summer.

He is also going to finally fix the gas gauge on the Duster. For the first year I had my car, the gauge didn't work when I started off but would start working after about fifteen to twenty minutes of driving. It hasn't worked at all for the last year or so.

My mechanic is also going to thoroughly check my gas tank. I think he'll check for any sign of water in there. Or any other problems. I should ask him to put in one of those glass bowl fuel filters. Are they readily available Muscle 4X4?
